We are so excited to announce that – due to popular demand – Orleans Seafood Kitchen is launching a new food truck! That’s right, now the authentic Cajun seafood you love is popping up all over Houston.

Orleans Seafood Kitchen in Katy is known as the go-to destination for the best genuine Cajun food in the region. Our loyal customers love us for our delicious seafood gumbo, étouffée and po’boys. The diverse menu also features fresh, seasonal fish like as tilapia, mahi mahi and salmon. And when crawfish season rolls around, we’re packed to the rafters! The Orleans Seafood Kitchen truck will bring the mad culinary skills of our own Chef Michael Romo – master of Cajun delicacies – to your favorite events, festivals and food truck parks.

OSK at Taylor High School Food Truck Fest

Come join us at the Taylor High School JET Band 3rd Annual Community Food Tuck Fest! The OSK food truck will be serving along with several other local food trucks. Everyone is welcome, so stop by Taylor High School at 20700 Kingsland Blvd. on Friday, August 24th from 5-8pm and enjoy the food and an awesome performance by the JET Band!

Hundreds Attended Orleans Seafood Kitchen’s 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

Thursday, April 26, Orleans Seafood Kitchen celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Katy with a Mardi Gras-themed celebration featuring live zydeco music by Jabo “Texas Prince of Zydeco,” drink specials and thousands of pounds of boiled crawfish. Hundreds of guests were on hand throughout the day to enjoy the festivities and authentic Cajun food. “We were so excited to see so many new faces in addition to our regulars,” commented co-owner Chance Comstock after the event. “It was so great to share our success with these friends, and we’re eager to see where the next 10 years takes us.”

It was in April 2008 that Chance Comstock and Marcus S. Payavla opened to doors of Orleans Seafood Kitchen, fulfilling their vision to bring authentic Cajun food to Katy, Texas. The response was astounding, and 10 years later they are still going strong.

Chance and Marcus attribute their success to the attention to detail that comes with being on site every day. It is that attention to detail and their commitment to customers, employees and community that set Orleans Seafood Kitchen apart from the less personal, big box competition.

Mayor Chuck Brawner Sites Orleans Seafood Kitchen As One of His Favorite Restaurants

Chuck Brawner spends most of his time serving the city of Katy as Mayor, but in his downtime he enjoys a night out with his wife eating at Orleans Seafood Kitchen. In the latest issue of the Texas community newspaper, Community Impact, Brawner discussed his plans to address challenges faced by Katy residents and his efforts to enhance the city’s economy. Brawner also took some time to mention his favorite Katy area spots. At the top of his favorite places to eat was Orleans Seafood Kitchen.

Orleans Seafood Kitchen (OSK) was recently published in Katy Magazine’s June-July Foodie Issue highlighting their Cajun culinary expertise and overviewing the menu items available, with special mention to the ever-famous Pecan-crusted Rainbow Trout sautéed in a brown butter sauce and topped with shrimp and crabmeat; and the Salmon Orleans: grilled salmon with crawfish and pico de gallo topped generously with lemon garlic butter sauce.
